The WT on Whidbey is an exclusive glamping experience created, curated, and cared for by Ron and Denise Vanausdoll located on Whidbey Island in Washington. A short ferry ride out of Seattle and quick 30 min drive brings you to this sweet travelers escape, built from recycled materials Ron found in the area. From the locally sourced wine and chocolates, to the fire pit and games, and the ambiance of their two safari tents — the Vanausdoll’s have thought of everything. Waking up to the sun, using their outdoor rain shower, and then cooking in their outdoor kitchen gave me a serenity I hadn’t found since COVID hit. I am ridiculously fortunate to have been able to stay on their property and enjoy their facilities, as well as document three different styled sessions while I was there. A styled Bridal Portrait Session (with Catherine) and then Lifestyle and Elopement sessions with @jm.and.km!
