Don’t worry, with 4 years under my belt documenting love stories, I’ve already done the leg work and research for you. If you’ve made it here, I’m ready to state my case for these 7 stunning locations you’ll regret not having your Pacific Northwest luxury wedding at in 2022!!!
The Admirals House makes this list because of the bright white New England charm it brings to the Magnolia Neighborhood. It’s perfect view of Elliott Bay, the Seattle Skyline, and Mt. Rainier encapsulates everything about the wonders of the PNW. Built by the US Navy in 1944 to house Naval families, this Historic Venue has been home to over thirty families. It’s not only a beautifully kept venue but the history it holds has deep ties to the importance of Seattle.
Only 30 minutes North of Seattle on 12 acres lies this fairytale wedding venue that will have you swooning over the gardens and European inspired architecture. They foster the spirit of family and togetherness with a true farm-to-table take on gatherings. With so much room for guests and so many features to this property, you have to stop by Bella Luna and see how dreamy it is.
With history dating back to 1931 The Lodge at St. Edwards is the perfect wedding venue if you want a historic take on modern class and comfort. With two fun in house bars, a world class restaurant, the Vita Nova Spa, and an art gallery that rotates local artists, you and your guests will have the perfect wedding weekend. Bonus points because of the access to St. Edward State Park trails and Lake Washington!
A staple to the city of Seattle, The Smith Tower is more than just it’s beautiful 360 degree views. (But image your ceremony above the Seattle skyline—picturesque) They have two spaces available for use, The Observatory (35th floor bar) and The Lookout (22nd floor balcony). It is an experience from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave and would make for the most iconic wedding photos.
The name says it all — who wouldn’t want to get married in a castle?! This English/Gothic mansion was built by Chester Thorne and includes remnants of a 400 year old Elizabethan Manor that he had dismantled and shipped to be used in the main house. Both an indoor and outdoor wedding venue, Thornewood Castle offers views of American Lake, a gorgeous sunken garden, and 27,000 square feet of English styled architecture. I can already see the photos of you running across the lawn, and dancing through the halls where presidents and dignitaries walked before you.
Originally designed as a home in 1926, The Corson Building has transformed itself into a community. It is located in the Georgetown neighborhood but feels as if you’ve been transported to the Italian countryside. With it’s farm-to-table menu and focus on family gathering you’re guaranteed that bit of tradition and bit of individuality that you’re looking for in your big day.
A Hidden Gem of the PNW Wedding Industry, The Hall at Fauntleroy is the perfect elegant indoor/outdoor space nestled within a quaint neighborhood not far from the heart of Seattle. Built from a 1900s schoolhouse, Fauntleroy has high ceilings, a beautiful garden space, and abundant natural light that makes it a firm contender. It’s amazing mix of lush greenery and class has me wanting to get married there.
